Adding Content to Announcements

  • To add content to an announcement, go to the edit screen for your announcement. You will be in the edit mode if you are creating an announcement for the first time, or going back to edit it after it has been posted.
  • Click wherever in the body of your announcement that you would like the content. If you are linking text, make sure it is highlighted.

Creating new announcement page

  • On the right side of the edit screen, you will see a menu titled Insert Content into the Page. From this menu, you have the option to link to pages in the course, course files or new files, or images. Click each tab to explore options.

Adding content to an announcement

  • When you have chosen what you would like to link to or embed, simply click it and the content should appear within your announcement.
