Overview
Blackboard is web courseware which can be used to create online content and add online interaction and collaboration to a course. Faculty can use Blackboard to post course documents, create links, hold online discussions, give tests, and facilitate groupwork. Students can use Blackboard to find course information, turn in assignments, view grades, and interact online with faculty and other students. Around Spring Quarter 2012, UW Bothell expects to upgrade from our current version of Blackboard 8 to Blackboard 9. LEDE Faculty will be piloting this new version for Winter Quarter 2012. More information on this transition will be made available through university communications as it becomes available.
