Haven't Used Blackboard Before?
Faculty and instructors who have never used the Blackboard system at UWB should follow the instructions to create a user account. You can access Blackboard at http://bb.uwb.edu. You can request a new course via the Blackboard Course Request Form. Contact Learning Technologies if you'd like an overview of Blackboard or would like personal assistance with creating effective online course materials and assignments.
Reusing Course Material?
If you would like to reuse course material, request a new Blackboard course and use the Control Panel > Course Copy menu in your old course to copy material to the new course. It's highly recommended that you don't simply reuse the old course since it will have the incorrect quarter listed as part of its course number. It's also recommended that you make the old course unavailable for student enrollment via the Control Panel > Settings > Enrollment Options menu.
