Services

The Learning Technologies team provides quality instructional support and services for UWB faculty and students. An overview of the services we provide is listed below. Consultations

Whether through one-on-one meetings, via email or over the phone, Learning Technologies can help faculty incorporate educational technology and learning tools into the classroom. From providing strategies for effective uses of these tools, such as with Canvas, to developing learning activities for students and helping faculty with implementing new technology into their coursework, Learning Technologies can help. Examples of consultation subjects include:

Website

The website provides resources, ideas, training material, tutorials, new innovations and more to help you be successful in using technology in teaching and learning at UWB. We also offer a blog to keep you updated on the latest news and happenings regarding technology use at UW and around the nation.

Workshops

Learning Technologies develops and sponsors faculty and student workshops which focus on integrating technology into teaching and learning. Sample topics can include Canvas, Tegrity, hybrid learning, digital media and more. We also offer more intensive institutes such as the Hybrid Course Development Institute, a 6-week workshop which helps faculty develop a hybrid course.

Student Tutoring

The Digital Media Lab provides extensive tutoring and other support services for students engaged in a variety of digital media projects.
