Purchasing Windows 7 and Outlook 2010

Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 can be purchased free of charge by University of Washington students.  All University of Washington students who are either currently enrolled or graduated the previous quarter, and who pay the Student Technology Fee are eligible to download a free copy of each product. Students will be required to use their UW NetID and password for validation.

Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010 are also available to University of Washington faculty and staff. However faculty and staff have to pay in order to download any of the Microsoft products at a discounted price.

If you are a staff/faculty looking to download Microsoft software for institutional use, click on “For UW Institutional Use”. Proceed to login with your UW NetID in order to gain access to the software.

If you are UW student or staff/faculty downloading the software for personal use continue click on “For Student” or “MS Home Use Program for Faculty and Staff” link. You will then be redirected to a page which includes a list of all the software available for download.

As a student and faculty/staff Windows 7 can be installed on two (2) computers with two (2) individual license keys Microsoft Office 2010 can be installed on two (2) computers with one (1) individual license key.
