Supported Computers

IT currently supports a variety of Windows and Mac computing solutions for faculty and staff. All supported computers are loaded with the current standard image.

IT is currently supporting the following computers:

Standard specifications typically include the following minimums:

  • Intel Core i5 processor
  • 8GB RAM
  • 250GB Hard drive or better
  • 3 years or greater of warranty coverage

       *Ultrabook specifications can be lower

When you work with IT to order a new computer, we provide our standard specification as a default. We are happy to modify the specifications on a case-by-case basis for program or departmental purchases as long as we can support the components you select and we stick with the supported models listed above.

If you purchase a computer that is not among our supported models, IT can still complete the purchase and inventory process for you, but we are not usually able to provide software, technical support, security updates, or other IT support services.
