Setup Your MyUW NET ID and UW Email


Enrollment Confirmation

Your MyUW account is your access to many resources you will need as a UW Bothell student. Your NET ID will also be your official UW email address. 


Admitted undergraduate students are required to submit a nonrefundable $100 deposit to confirm their admission. Once you enroll, the $100 will be credited toward your first quarter's tuition. Questions or troubles? Check out these step-by-step directions on how to use the online portal.

Measles Vaccination Form

A registration hold will be on your account until we receive your request for your UW Bothell I-20. If you are transferring from another school in the U.S,, you must have the International Advisor at your current school also sign the I-20 Transfer-in Form. If you don't have an I-20, you should complete the Initial I-20 Form. Questions? Email us at


A registration hold will be on your account until this is received. Complete and email the completed form to the Office of the Registrar. It is OK if your documents are not in English. You do not need to have the documents translated, but you must make a note on the document that indicates the measles vaccine and the two dates that you received the vaccine.  The form and support documents must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar at 


Register for UW Bothell Orientation


Register for International Student Immigration Orientation

Attendance is Required. Students arriving into the U.S. on an initial I-20 can enter the U.S. up to 30 days before their program start date listed on their I-20, so plan accordingly.

Undergraduate Students: You must sign-up online to attend an Advising & Orientation (A&O) session, which is for all new undergraduate students. At A&O, you will meet your Academic Advisor to review your transfer credits and register for classes. You won't be able to register for classes until you have submitted your Measles Form and I-20 Request Form.

Graduate Students: Complete the U501 Graduate School Online Orientation prior to your arrival. Also, please contact your department for specific in-person Orientation for your program.


Attendance is Required for all Undergraduate and Graduate Students. Through this interactive session, you will gain valuable insight on how to have a successful experience at UW Bothell. Whether you have studied in the U.S. before or if it is your first time, you will find helpful resources in your transition to UW Bothell.

Undergraduate Students: You will register AND attend the Immigration Orientation as part of your A&O Orientation.

Graduate Students: You will attend a special international graduate student only Immigration Orientation, and have a chance to meet current students in your program. 





Whether you are looking to live on or off campus, we encourage students to confirm your housing before you arrive to Bothell.   

Undergraduate Students: Send your official College and/or High School transcript to the Office of Admissions as soon as your in-progress course work is completed and graded.  Do not open the transcript, as once it is opened it will not be considered official documents.  A registration hold will be on your account until the transcript is received.

Graduate Students: Please consult with your department on specific instructions. 

Math Placement Test   Plan Your Arrival
First Year Students Only. UW Bothell offers placement testing in mathematics. The test is designed to assess your mastery in math so you don't have to take courses you don't need.   

We strongly encourage you to arrive to Bothell in time to attend your A&O Session, International Student Immigration Orientation, and on-campus move-in (if applicable).

You may also consider attending an Education USA  Pre-Departure Orientation near you!


After You Arrive to UW Bothell:

Convocation   Welcome Week Events
All new undergraduate students (and their families) are encouraged to attend the Fall Quarter Convocation. This is an event that welcomes new students to UW Bothell.   Every Fall Quarter, various events are held during the first few weeks of the quarter to help welcome new students to campus. All students are welcome.
Attend Orientations    UW International Student Insurance Plan (iSHIP)

 Undergraduate Students: You must attend your A&O Orientation and the Int'l Student Immigration Orientation.

Graduate Students: You must attend the Int'l Student Immigration Orientation and your department orientation.


Enrollment in iSHIP is required by Washington State law, and is part of the quarterly class registration process in MyUW. CIE encourages you to purchase the Annual coverage to ensure insurance during your vacation quarter.
