Travel & F1 Visa Workshop:
Interested in traveling home or to Canada over the holidays & winter break? Not sure what documents you need when traveling, or how to apply for your new F1 visa? We will discuss in this workshop about everything you need to know before you travel and the resources available to help you.
Students are encouraged to bring their current UW Bothell I-20 to the workshop to receive the current travel signature from the International Student Advisor.
Internships & Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Workshop:
Interested in doing an internship? Come to our informational session to learn about the employment opportunities you have with your F-1 visa, and how you can apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) work authorization to do your internship. ISS will share information to help you through the process, and answer questions.
If you are not able to attend a workshop, students are encouraged to review the CPT information online, and then schedule an appointment to meet with the International Student Advisor (email@example.com).
Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshop:
Interested to work in the U.S. after graduation? Come to our informational session to learn about how you can apply for OPT work authorization. ISS will share information to help you through the application process, and answer your questions. The OPT Information and Application Packet is online here.

One of our support services is to provide cultural adjustment assistance to new and current international students at the University of Washington Bothell. Throughout this 2013-2014 academic year, we will be hosting and collaborating with on-campus groups to offer students many opportunities to meet students and community members through various fun and interactive activites!

Make a difference by fighting hunger with us this holiday season by visiting a local food bank to pack and/or sort food.

The Thanksgiving Host Program matches interested international students with volunteer UW Bothell Faculty/staff hosts willing to share their family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

The International Student Facilitators is a student organization that aims to assist international students in their transiton to life in the United States and at UW Bothell. They will also be planning quarterly activities that all international and domestic students at UW Bothell are welcome to join.
