Students will come to the festival for hands-on, brain-teasing science fun, exploration and inspiration. They will experience interactive exhibits from dozens of sponsors, alumni, industry and community partners; workshops led by college professors, industry experts and high school students; and talks given by former astronauts.
The focus of the Festival is 6th-8th students from low income, underrepresented groups (girls and first generation college students) in the Northshore, Everett, Edmonds and Mukilteo School Districts, along with neighboring communities. Keynote speakers, a street fair, workshops and lunch will be provided free of charge to all participants. Registration will only occur through the school districts and neighboring community groups.
