Inspire STEM Festival Banner, three young girls participating in previous festivals

The University of Washington Bothell is pleased to host the 2018 Inspire STEM Festival

Students will come to the festival for hands-on, brain-teasing science, fun, exploration and inspiration. They will experience interactive exhibits from dozens of sponsors, alumni, industry and community partners; workshops led by college professors, industry experts and high school students; and talks given by former astronauts.

6th-8th grade students from King and Snohomish Counties are invited to attend in teams of 10 students. Low income, underrepresented groups (girls and future first generation college students) are especially encouraged to attend. Keynote speakers, an exhibitor hall, workshops and lunch will be provided free of charge to all participants.

Teachers or chaperones will sign up teams of 10 students for workshop categories, and we will place your team into workshops within those categories.  We will do our best to honor your preferences, but will be alloting space on a first come, first serve basis, and so can not guarantee your requests.

Workshop Categories include:

  • Life Sciences
  • Robotics
  • Technology
  • Arts & Sciences
