Classroom settingThe University of Washington Bothell has been called the "innovation campus" and for good reason.  Innovation is at the core of all we do, from teaching to technology. Our undergraduates get involved in research projects with faculty members early in their academic careers.

Try Something New - We can help!

Did you know that most people come to the Makerspace to 3D print?  This is a cool technology that becomes increasingly more relevant to jobs and production.

Did you know the UWB Makerspace has four different kinds of 3D printers? If you have tried one of our Flashforge Printers, ask a staff member if you can learn to use the Orion Delta, the Ultimaker 2, or the giant Wanhao printer now on the Makerspace floor.

Welcome all for Winter Quarter 2017!  The Makerspace is open and staffed from 10a-5p M-F.  Students and Staff with all or no abilities are welcome, so tell your friends to get into making! Let's have a creative quarter.

IEEE Paper Plate Speaker Event

Come to the Makerspace on Friday, November 18th for a fun maker event hosted by IEEE.  Learn how to turn household items into a working speaker! All levels of experience and inexperience can do it!  Session 1: 12-2pm,  Session2: 2-4pm.

Kickoff Today! SSFF Halloween Edition

The Halloween Shoddy Short Film Festival Kickoff is Today!  Come to the makerspace from 4-6pm to be a part of this creative showcase event.  

Film viewing will be week from today on Friday, October, 28th at 4pm on the top floor of ARC. All are welcome!

The Carvey CNC machines are here!

The new mills.

The Carvey CNCs have arrived!  These mills can carve materials with densities up to soft aluminum.  Familiarize yourself with Easel, the simple software these machines use and start dreaming up all of the things you can make.
