The School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences (IAS) at the University of Washington Bothell maintains an active hiring pool of dynamic educators interested in teaching courses on a quarterly or annual basis. We also seek qualified thesis supervisors for our MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics.*
Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinarity and to working with diverse student and community populations. Specific areas of interest vary from year to year. PhD or other terminal degree in relevant field and experience teaching interdisciplinary courses at the college/university level. Candidates with non-terminal degrees and significant experience will be considered for arts practice and media production courses, as well as MFA thesis supervision.
