Joe Milutis speaks and publishes on experimental translation

December 5, 2014 - Joe Milutis has participated in and created a number of events, interviews, broadcasts, and texts related to his work on experimental translation.  As part of a residency at Wave Farm in Acra, New York, he produced a radio broadcast for WGXC (Hudson, NY), interviewing various artists around the theme of experimental translations.  He also spoke on these issues for the Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference, the “Poetry Will Be Made by All” exhibition in Zurich, Switzerland, and the New Museum’s research initiative on “The Voice.”   He also made a guest appearance on Poem Talk #80 at the University of Pennsylvania and spoke on Ann Hamilton’s new exhibit at the Henry Art Museum in Seattle.  With Anna Rosenwong, he is currently co-editing a portfolio of work on experimental translation for the Western Humanities Review.
