David Goldstein discusses clicker pedagogy at the National Race and Pedagogy conference

October 6, 2014 - IAS faculty member and UW Bothell Teaching and Learning Center Director David Goldstein presented on “Using ‘Clickers’ to Teach about Race” at the National Race and Pedagogy Conference at the University of Puget Sound.  Goldstein’s talk focused on the ways in which clickers – hand-held devices that allow an instructor to poll a classroom on an issue with immediate results – can be particularly useful when teaching sensitive but crucial subjects such as race, ethnicity, and stereotyping.
