Scrambling for AfricaJune 4, 2014 - IAS faculty member Johanna Crane travelled to Uganda where she spoke with medical doctors, global health practitioners, and fellow social scientists about her recently published book, Scrambling for Africa: AIDS, Expertise, and the Rise of American Global Health Science.  She gave a talk titled "Scrambling for Africa: The Politics of Partnership in Global Health Research" at three locations: the Makerere Institute for Social Research; the Infectious Disease Institute at Makerere University; and at the ISS Clinic at Mbarara University of Science and Technology.
