Johanna Crane participated in conference on HIV cure research

May 13, 2014 - IAS faculty member Johanna Crane participated in "Unintended and Intended Implications of HIV Cure: A Social and Ethical Analysis", a three-day conference at the Brocher Foundation in Geneva, Switzerland.  The interdisciplinary gathering engaged virologists, clinical researchers, ethicists, social scientists, and policy scholars in a discussion about new developments in the field of HIV cure research.  Crane’s presentation, “The Social Context of Curing HIV Among Infants: From Mississippi to South Africa and Back," was co-authored with Theresa Rossouw of the University of Pretoria.
