Martha Groom publishes on natural history and public science

BioScienceApril 1, 2014 - IAS faculty member Martha Groom was one of 17 co-authors in a recent paper in Bioscience calling for strengthening the use of knowledge of natural history for societal benefits, "Natural History's Place in Science and Society".  Groom and her colleagues argue for increased collaboration of citizens and scientists in learning about and monitoring our natural environment. Their paper was also highlighted in Nature increasing the reach of their messages.
