April 1, 2014 - IAS faculty members Lauren Berliner and Lauren Lichty co-chaired and presented in a panel and workshop at the 2014 Digital Media and Learning conference in Boston.  The panel catalyzed an interdisciplinary conversation between community psychologists and media pedagogues.  Berliner and Lichty's presentation, "Re-examining Program Evaluation: Participatory Action Researchers and Community Media Teachers in Dialogue," drew on their current collaboration on a model for inclusive program evaluation that shifts the emphasis from an assessment focused on outputs to one that captures how projects are identified, framed, funded, designed, and implemented.
