IAS MFA faculty present, read, and perform at the Association of Writers & Writing Programs conference

March 4, 2014 - IAS faculty members presented, read, and performed their work at the Association of Writers & Writing Programs conference in Seattle. Jeanne Heuving appeared on two panels: the first on teaching hybrid forms and the second a tribute to Kathleen Fraser, poet and founder of feminist poetics journal HOW(ever). Sarah Dowling chaired a panel on the “Legacy of Leslie Scalapino” and also introduced a reading and conversation with authors Chris Abani and Chang-rae Lee.  Amaranth Borsuk presented her collaboration Abra as part of a panel on "New Media Beyond the Book." Joe Milutis organized and presented on the panel, “The New Translation:  Writing through Rewriting.” Congratulations to everyone on such a successful conference!
