Jeanne Heuving publishes “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts” in Hambone 20

February 13, 2014 - IAS faculty member Jeanne Heuving published “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts” in Hambone 20, edited by Nathaniel Mackey, a National Book Award recipient. “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts” is a long poem written to the newspaper columnist, Miss Lonelyhearts, of Nathaniel West’s novel about a newspaper man posing as a woman who writes a lonelyhearts column. Hambone is the writer Nathaniel Mackey’s journal, an auteur volume, initiated by Mackey in 1975.
