January 6, 2014 - IAS faculty members S. Charusheela and Kanta Kochhar-Lindgren presented their research at the 16th annual conference of the Forum on Contemporary Theory in Mysore, India in December.  This year’s convening was organized around the theme of “Translation, Compartivism, and the Global South.”  Charusheela’s plenary talk discussed “Economics, Modernity, and Counterdisciplinary Translation.”  Kochhar-Lindgren’s presentation focused on “Dramatizing Translation: Performance, Cultural Tourism, and the Transnational.”
