Joyce Kabura Mwangi ('15, Cultural Studies) has co-founded the non-profit organization Hohmann Community Services Initiative, which provides low income communities in Snohomish and King County with access basic human services.  Julianna (Mandler) Martin (’12, Policy Studies) has been promoted to Management Analyst at County of Santa Clara’s Clean Water Program. Alia Marsha (’16, Media & Communication Studies) authored a recent article for The Seattle Globalist that covered how Bellevue businessmen benefitted from Japanese American incarcerationMelissa Watkinson (’15, Policy Studies; ’11, Global Studies and Society, Ethics, & Human Behavior) is now serving on City of Seattle's Environmental Justice Steering Committee, helping leverage the concerns and voices of Seattle's Native American community.  Way to go, alumni!
