Dear Students,

Welcome to the Autumn Quarter! G.R.A.D. News, the UW Bothell Graduate Students Newsletter is one of many endeavors brought to you by the G.R.A.D (Graduate Resource and Development) Council. The goals of the G.R.A.D Council are simple: build a richer culture of graduate education at UW Bothell and enhance the visibility of opportunities for student engagement. It is our goal in offering this newsletter to help increase awareness of campus initiatives and build a sense of community for graduate students across all Schools and Programs.

Each quarter we will shine the spotlight on a specific service available for UW graduate students (Campus Spotlight), as well stories focusing on your fellow graduate students (Student Focus), and our UW Bothell campus programs (Featured Programs).

Don't forget to check out our upcoming events including the UW Bothell Graduate Student Fall Welcome with a "GFIS (Graduate Funding Information Service) Presentation on How to Fund Your Graduate Education" on Friday, November 3rd from 4:00-6:00pm in UW1-202. Join us at this informative event for funding information, refreshments, and grad community!

Best Wishes,

G.R.A.D Council, UW Bothell
