Academic Connections Worldwide

Many courses across the UW Bothell curriculum and the research of our faculty emphasize a global perspective. In addition, UW Bothell is spearheading a UW-wide effort to deepen global engagement of students in the classroom, without requiring travel abroad, by implementing online collaboration with international partners.

UW Grants for International Course Collaborations

UW faculty and staff across the UW system are invited to submit a proposal for funding to support development of a course utilizing the COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) approach. Submissions may come from individuals or teams, with up to $2,000 in salary funds available for each project selected. Read more...

International Visitors at UWB

Global Initiatives' efforts to build new international partnerships involves interesting visits from partners around the world. During the 2013-14 academic year, we hosted visitors from: South China Normal University in China; University of the Free State in South Africa; Ehime University, our existing partner in Matsuyama, Japan; and Chongham National University in South Korea.
