Innovation in Education Scholarship

Margarian Scholarship
As in past years, the 2015 Margarian Scholarship is aimed at rewarding a select number of deserving students for their academic and personal achievements. Our application is designed to be broad to give you the opportunity to present all the reasons why you are the most deserving candidate. We are seeking students who have demonstrated commitment to their heritage, community, and society through persistence, dedication, success and humility. Note, that we do not only determine recipients solely on G.P.A. basis or economic hardship. Rather, we seek the most deserving candidate based on a multitude of factors mentioned. The scholarship will be in the form of a check payable to the recipient and may be applied towards past, present, or future tuition expenses. The scholarship prizes will consist of five (5) awards of $1,000 each.

The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance Scholarship
The Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance is proud to award $4,000 to one student each semester whose life has been impacted by cancer.

The Raab Collection Stewards of History Scholarship
Each semester, the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the student to use at his or her discretion. The applicant must submit a one-page personal statement on his or her interest in history, a letter of recommendation from an academic source, a resume, a transcript and an 800-word essay on what role technology will play in the preservation of history and historical documents in our future.

Giva Semi-Annual Student Scholarship
This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting students further their education as well as expand their social responsibility and community service footprint in the world.
There is no specific course of study or major required. Giva will award $1000 scholarships to students who write thoughtful essays in answering the following questions:  How will you use your talents and education to make the world a better place for future generations? What are your career and personal goals and why?

ACLS Scholarship Program
The scholarship offered will be awarded annually to full-time students who are enrolled in a nationally accredited college or university. The first place candidate will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The second and third place candidates will receive complimentary Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification courses which have a combined value of $360.  The monetary first place award must be used towards college/university tuition and/or related school supplies.
