Every month, CollegeMapper offers high school students a chance to apply for a $500 scholarship to their intended school of study.  To be eligible for this contest you must be currently enrolled at a high school in the United States and plan to attend a college or university in the United States. Innovation in Education Scholarship
We at LA Tutors are passionate about sparking the creative genius in students and would love to commend those outstanding students who have a made a difference in the lives of others in some innovative or technological fashion.  In order to achieve this, we have established a scholarship for students who meet certain criteria that are listed on our web page.  All submissions must be uploaded no later than 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month. The submission window closes starting the 21st and will reopen on the 1st at 8:00 a.m.

Giva Semi-Annual Student Scholarship
This scholarship grant is aimed at assisting students further their education as well as expand their social responsibility and community service footprint in the world.
There is no specific course of study or major required. Giva will award $1000 scholarships to students who write thoughtful essays in answering the following questions:  How will you use your talents and education to make the world a better place for future generations? What are your career and personal goals and why?

Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team Education Scholarships
The Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team awards several academic scholarships to students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in a range of programs and schools. Apply by December 1 each year.

L P Guerra has launched a national scholarship in conjunction with the American Women's Business Association (ABWA) to help women grow, prosper and become leaders in business. This is a national essay contest and we want to know “What life experiences have shaped who you are today and what challenges have you overcome in achieving your education (i.e. financial, personal, medical, etc.)? ” The scholarship will award the winner of the essay contest two thousand dollars for the 2015 Fall semester.

Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship
The Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to any student who is currently attending or planning to attend college or some form of higher education.  For a chance to win this scholarship students are asked to create a form of social awareness that inspires other students to focus on Looking Twice for Motorcycle Safety. This can be a video, artwork, essay or anything that would engage other students to focus on safe driving.

Mark A. Forester Scholarship
Rocky Mountain Mattress Company proudly contributes to The Mark Forester Foundation scholarship fund and and is now holding an essay contest. To enter, the student must write a 300-500 word essay explaining how they go about honoring America's military heroes. The contest winner will receive a $1000 scholarship in the name of The Mark Forester Foundation.

Bridgat Undergraduate Scholarship 2014
This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are now studying in the U.S., regardless of nationality. Three individuals will be designated each year and awarded a one-time scholarship of $4,500.  The three individuals will be selected based on academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in cross cultural activities, a personal statement, and a letter of reference completed by a professor or supervisor. Deadline: December 31, 2015.

The ACHIEVE Today Scholarship fund
The ACHIEVE Today Scholarship fund will award gifts totaling $10,000.00 this year, progressing our mission to help students of all ages Awaken Their Greatness.Eligible students need to write an essay of no fewer than 800 words OR submit a video of no fewer than 2 minutes about how they are living the law of attraction and manifesting the law in their lives. Fly High Scholarship
Students must submit a 500-1000 word essay about a travel related experience or topic. The winning essay will be featured on the FlightNetwork blog and will also secure the winner a one time scholarship of $1000.

ACLS Medical Training Scholarship Program
Opportunity for one student to receive a $1000 scholarship and for two runners up to receive online training in ACLS, BLS or PALS.

Two $2,000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university.
Deadline: December 31, 2015. Research Leadership Scholarship Program
Four winners will be chosen, based on quality of submitted essay. Highest award is $3,000. Three additional winners will be given $1000 each. Winners will be notified and awards will be given toward the end of January 2016.

ACLS Scholarship Program
The scholarship offered will be awarded annually to full-time students who are enrolled in a nationally accredited college or university. The first place candidate will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. The second and third place candidates will receive complimentary Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification courses which have a combined value of $360.  The monetary first place award must be used towards college/university tuition and/or related school supplies.
Deadline: December 31st to be considered for the following awarding year.
