August Scholarships

Every month, CollegeMapper offers high school students a chance to apply for a $500 scholarship to their intended school of study.  To be eligible for this contest you must be currently enrolled at a high school in the United States and plan to attend a college or university in the United States. Graduate Programs Scholarship
Graduate Programs will award $1,000 scholarships to current graduate students and $1,000 toward student loan payments for recent grads within the last five years. To apply, Rate and Review your graduate school program on our website and enter our quarterly scholarship drawing.

Innovation in Education Scholarship
We at LA Tutors are passionate about sparking the creative genius in students and would love to commend those outstanding students who have a made a difference in the lives of others in some innovative or technological fashion.  In order to achieve this, we have established a scholarship for students who meet certain criteria that are listed on our web page.  All submissions must be uploaded no later than 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month. The submission window closes starting the 21st and will reopen on the 1st at 8:00 a.m.

Student Design Competitions
Autodesk proudly sponsors competitions around the world. Our goal is to help advance student's knowledge and skills through challenges that inspire and prepare them for promising careers in architecture, engineering, and the digital arts.  Check out the design competitions on-line and see how you can get involved!

Minority students may have unexpected barriers to cross when looking for scholarships. 2015 Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship
The Nurses Make a Difference Scholarship is an annual $1,000 scholarship awarded to an aspiring nurse who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program at a college or university or is a high school student who has been accepted into a school with an undergraduate nursing program. The winning applicant will provide the best 200-300 word essay on the topic of how nurses can make a difference in people's lives.
Deadline: August 1, 2015.

The Rand Marketing Web Design Scholarship
Rand Marketing is offering a $1000 scholarship to enable one student chosen from all entries to pursue his or her education demonstrating a passion for design and a creative submission. Each applicant must submit an essay of 250 words or more which includes all requirements listed on the schoalrship page. Deadline: August 5, 2015. Scholarship Program, out of Canton, Ohio, is providing a scholarship for working students to help pay for school.  To apply, students must simply write an essay discussing the complexities of paying your way through college, explain how you are able to manage it, and describe what the process has taught you about personal and financial responsibility.  Deadline: August 9, 2015.

CoachUp Scholarships
CoachUp, the nation's leading private coaching company, will award 3 student scholarships in the amount of $2,000 cash for school, plus $500 toward private coaching sessions through CoachUp. To be considered students must complete an online application and submit a personal reference, a short essay and a 1 minute video essay.
Deadline: August 10, 2015.

Race Entry Student Scholarship
Race Entry supports students of all disciplines who pursue self-improvement and enhanced health through race preparation and participation. Beginning in 2014, Race Entry is offering a $500 scholarship to the winner of our annual “Race to Inspire” essay contest. Many people have different reasons for running in a race. We want to hear & share your inspiring story.  All applications must be submitted between January 1 and August 15 to be included in the contest of the same year.

Healthy Home Scholarship
As a leader in the foundation repair industry, Olshan Foundation Solutions understands the importance of investing in the future. To demonstrate this support, we offer the Olshan Healthy Home $1,000 Scholarship to qualifying candidates. To apply students need to complete application and attach required documents

Arctic Physical Therapy Scholarship
Our physical therapy practice is dedicated to offering the highest standard of rehabilitative services for the community.  We are offering a $500 scholarship to the eligible student. Deadline: August 31, 2015.

The Clubs of America Scholarship Award for Career Success
Clubs of America is offering a $1500 annual scholarship to help students consider their aspirations, and ease the burden of the costs of higher education.  Students who are interested in applying and maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA are expected to either write an 800 word essay, or create a YouTube video on where they see themselves in 10 years.  Dearline: August 31, 2015.

The Versitas Education Scholarship
Versitas is a corporate software training company, providing organizations with both onsite and online business skills training for their employees. We understand the real world value of ongoing education.  Our goal is to help you with your education, so you can go on to help others. Submit your essay on the topic as a PDF with a title page including all the required information.  Deadline: August 31, 2015.

Mosaic Clinic Hair Transplant Center Scholarship Program
As a Houston hair transplant leader, we feel it is our responsibility to give back to the community and further advance the world of education.  As such, the Mosaic Clinic is offering a scholarship for those who need tuition assistance. This will be paid directly to the school of the winning applicants. Deadline: August 31, 2015.
