Uploading Your Own Syllabus File
- The Name is retained from the previous step, but you may change it if you wish.
- The Text box may be used to type out a description for your syllabus, but it is better to have everything in your syllabus file because of the length of most syllabi.
- Your syllabus file is also retained from the previous step, but you may delete it or upload another file. To upload an additional file, click Browse... and select a file. To delete a file from the Currently Attached Files and Items, simply click on its corresponding Remove button.
- Select Yes for Make the content available to let students view this syllabus, or No to prevent them from seeing it. You may wish to select No if you are preparing a syllabus in advance and do not want your students to see it just yet.
- Select Yes for Track number of views to have the Blackboard system collect data from your students about usage, otherwise, leave it as No.
- Choose date and time restrictions makes a syllabus appear on the Blackboard course page during a specified time period. Simply check the box(s) which you wish to apply and set their date and time.
Note: You still have to select Yes for Make the content available if you wish to use this feature.
