+Course Link
Use +Course Link to create a link to another part of your Blackboard course. Examples of such places include the Assignments content area and any new folders you have created.
- Go to the Edit View screen of any content area.
- From the menu on the top, click on the +Course Link button.
- Enter a title for your course link at Name.
- You may provide a brief description for your external link at Text.
Note: You can also copy and paste text from Microsoft Word to Blackboard.
- At Location, click Browse... to open the Course Map.
- Click on a folder or item to select the link's destination.
Expand All or + will expand folders.
Collapse All or - will contract folders.
- Select Yes for Make the content available to let students view this course link or No to prevent them from seeing it. You may wish to select No if you are preparing course links in advance and do not want your students to see them just yet.
- Select Yes for Track number of views to have the Blackboard system collect data from your students about usage, otherwise, leave it as No.
- Choose date and time restrictions makes a course link appear on the Blackboard course page during a specified time period. Simply check the box(s) which you wish to apply and set their date and time.
Note: You still have to select Yes for Make the content available if you wish to use this feature.
