The Course Menu is the main navigation menu found in the left (usually green) frame that you see each time you go to a course in Blackboard. You can customize the menu in order to better reflect what you are doing in your course. For example, you can create a link to an external website that is critical to your course, create weekly modules, or eliminate menu items that you don't use.
- Click +Content Area to create another content area.
- Click +External Link to create a menu link to a website outside of Blackboard.
- Use the number drop down menu to change the order of the items in the menu.
- Click on the Modify button for a content or a tool area to change its name and options (if applicable).
- Click on the Remove button to remove an item from the menu.
