Removing an Assignment
Assignments can be either excluded from grade calculations or entirely deleted from Blackboard. Consider excluding assignments from calculations if you wish to retain the records, or entirely deleting them from Blackboard if you wish to clean up your course page.
To exclude from calculations:
- From the Blackboard Grade Center, click on the double down arrow button (
) for an assignment and select Modify Column.
- Scroll down to Options and change Include this column in Grade Center calculations to No.
- Click Submit to save changes.
To remove from Blackboard:
- From the Edit View screen, click Remove to delete the assignment.
- And then from the Grade Center, click on the double down arrow button () for an assignment and select Remove Column. For this option to show up, the assignment must be removed from Edit View.
