  • February 15 – President’s Day – NO CLASSES
  • February 21 – deadline for changing courses grading option to S/NS ($20 fee)
  • February 25 – Registration for Spring Quarter for first year students begins (check your MyUW for your specific day of registration)

Midterms are on the horizon, and so is registration! Let’s take a look at some of the steps along the way.

Getting Ready to Register

Before you can register for classes, you should probably check out a couple of things:

  • First, take a look at your MyUW for your specific day of registration.
  • Next, if you haven’t already, you might want to make an appointment with a Pre-Major Advisor or stop by Drop-In Advising for your quick questions.
  • Last, but not least, be sure to take a look at the Time Schedule or MyPlan. Feel free to explore the different listings, you might find something you didn’t expect!

Feel Like You’re Floating?

If you’re not quite sure where you’re going or what you’d like to major in, come to our free Major Exploration Workshop in February (date, time, and location will be added beginning of Winter quarter)

Don’t Forget to Use Your Academic Resources

You are responsible for your education, but you don’t have to do it alone. Be proactive and use the resources available to you.
