MACS Petition for an Internship

As a Cultural Studies student, you have the opportunity to conduct an internship with a non-profit organization, public agency, or business to gain practical experience during your course of study. If you are seeking credit for your internship, you will be responsible for completing an academic project in addition to fulfilling the functions of your position. This project should provide clear benefits to your learning, the internship site, and the University of Washington. You are eligible to enroll in the internship course (BCULST 520) after completing the following prerequisite: BCULST 500: Formations of Cultural Studies (10 cr). Use this petition to request approval to begin the application process. Students should discuss the request with their portfolio advisors before submitting the petition.
