Megan Jewell currently serves as the Director of Graduate Academic Services and Graduate Advisor to the CSS graduate students.  Previously, she served as the Undergraduate Advisor to the Computer Science & Software Engineering and Applied Computing Undergraduates. Megan has spent her career in higher education helping students think about their studies from both a goal orientated and experiential perspective. The joy of working with and learning from students is what has kept her at the University of Washington for fourteen years.

Janet McDaniel

Janet McDaniel received her B.A. from Eastern Washington University in 1980. She majored in Home Economics with an emphasis in Business Administration. She began working for UWB in 1994. She was hired permanently in 1996 as an Office Assistant III in the Business Program. In May 2000, she joined the Computing & Software Systems staff as the Program & Internship Coordinator. She provides administrative support and coordinates the Computing and Software Systems student internship program. She works with industry and community partners to facilitate student internship placements.

David Guenther

CSS IT Liaison

David Guenther is an UWB alumni. He obtained his Management Information Systems degree and upon graduation David worked as a Network Administrator with the UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences where he had the opportunity to support the faculty and students in bringing new IT tools to forestry practices and research. As an IT Liaison, David focuses on the management of the windows-based systems and on the design of virtual infrastructure.

Rafael Silva

Rafael Silva is a Creative Technologist focused on Opensource technologies. He obtained a B.S in Computer Science from the Federal University of Vi├žosa (Brazil) and a Master of Internet Technology from University of Georgia. During his academic life, Rafael worked as Research Assistant, helping to develop academic projects on Wireless Sensor Networks and Augmented Reality. At UWB, Rafael manages the Linux-based systems and provides technical guidance on research projects.
