These instructions describe the process for specifying Outlook as your PDA desktop software on Windows computers. Information Systems staff will need to help with you with the installation. In order for IS staff to do the installation, you need to have the following items on hand:
The HotSync process is the same as it would be if you were using the PDA Desktop. With your PDA in the cradle, simply press the HotSync button on the cradle.
You can control the way the HotSync works by using the HotSync manager.
Click on the HotSync symbol in the task bar, then click on the application whose properties you want to change. You can then tell the application whether information on your desktop or you PDA should take precedence during HotSync operations.
