Information Systems has created a folder in your Inbox called Junk Mail. We have also created a Spam rule that you can import into Outlook. This rule will move all suspected spam, which has been flagged **SPAM?** by SpamAssassin, into the Junk Mail folder. With this rule in place, the suspected Spam will not appear in your Inbox, but it will still be accessible to you. You can periodically check the Junk Mail folder for "real" mail, and empty the Junk Mail folder. A more complete overview of Spam filtering at UWB can be found on our Spam Filtering Overview page.
PLEASE NOTE: The Help Desk is more than happy to assist you if you have any problems with setting up a rule, or if you would like a technician to set this up for you. Please contact the Help Desk at (425) 352-5275 or help@uwb.edu.
