Connecting the File Server on a Mac Using Shortcuts
The first time you log into your computer, three shortcuts will automatically be generated linking to the most frequently used resources.
Departments contains the link to your departmental share. It also contains links to other departments and the Temporary folder.
Faculty-Staff has links to multi-department shared resources such as GFO and GSO.
Finally, a link to your personal folder (bearing your UWB username, which is typically first initial + last name) is created.
