Logo and Brand Standards

Consistent use of logos, slogans, color palettes and typefaces reinforces UW Bothell's brand standards. This leads to easy identification of publications that represent our campus by our internal and external audiences. Best efforts should be made to ensure that the following style guidelines are followed and that brand standards are met.

New Logo Guidelines

The University of Washington will be updating the tri-campus logo guidelines in Spring 2008. New guidelines will be posted when they become available.

General Logo Guidelines

Please consult the Office of Public Relations and Communications for assistance with logos. We are glad to provide you with the proper logo sized to fit your needs.

Use of Logos

Any publication or other printed material that will be seen by anyone outside of UW Bothell faculty and staff must have a UW Bothell logo somewhere on it.

When possible, on printed publications, one or more of the following should be arranged on the first page of the publication:

The use of the words in this way helps readers to clearly see that the publication is an official UW Bothell communication and lends itself well to the branding efforts at work.

Design elements also at work in many UW Bothell pieces include use of blocks of colors, large photos of our students and transparent fonts.
