UW Bothell reaffirms support for undocumented students

The plight of undocumented students is personal for me. I too am an immigrant and I remember the difficulties I encountered as I navigated college admissions and the financial aid process. Thus, I am pleased to join President Cauce and the leadership of the University of Washington Bothell to reaffirm our support for undocumented students on our campus and within the UW Bothell community. This year, we have committed to work on six areas of emphasis.

Preventing suicide

Because mental health and substance abuse are among the most cited reasons college students don’t complete their degrees, it is clear that behavioral health promotion and suicide prevention should be among our top priorities.
