Receptionist
Greet visitors, answer telephones, activity sign up, problem solving, general information. Must like people, can work under pressure and ever-changing conditions.

Adult Day Care Center Volunteer
General office work, cooks, and kitchen helpers, work one-on-one with seniors.

Telephone Committee
Tell members about upcoming events, remind folks of appointments, request baked goods for special occasions, other needs.

Dining Room and Kitchen Volunteer
Help with cooking, set and clear tables, serve food, load the dishwasher, clean up.

Coffee Bar Volunteer
Serve coffee and light refreshments.

Annual Raffle Help
Sell raffle tickets to family and friends; at banks and supermarkets.
[May through July or early August, two or three 4 hour shifts during this period]

Ransacked Attic Rummage Sale
Sort, price and sell items donated for this sale. Drivers with vans or pickups needed to pick up donations.

Social Services Volunteer
Receptionists, copy machine operators, mutlitaskers . . .

Outreach Programs—School Friends
Help busy teachers with disabled students and provide other assistance at schools.

Outreach Programs—Phone Friends
Talk with "latchkey" boys and girls who may have problems or be lonesome.

Outreach Programs—Connections
Visit homebound elders, newly bereaved members, newcomers to our area, or others to whom friendly visits are helpful.

Outreach Programs—Natural Helpers
Assist seniors who may have a variety of concerns.

Outreach Programs—Drivers
Take seniors to medical or dental appointments, grocery shopping, etc.

Outreach Programs—Knitters
Make caps, socks, ect for the needy.

Summer Gardening and Games Volunteer
Keep landscaping neat and attractive. Also need organizers for a variety of summer games.

Computer Learning Centers Volunteer
Instructors and assistants are needed who are knowledgeable about computers and software applications. Database management, word processing, spreadsheets-IBM compatible computers.

Office Staff
Enter information and prepare reports on IBM-compatible computers. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access.

Rousatbouts and Handy Folk
Folks with trucks or vans to help move things from one place to another, folks to help set up and put away tables and chairs for special events. Handy-folks for all-around chores like hanging pictures or repairing furniture and fixtures.

Pancake Breakfast Volunteer
Help cook, serve, clean up and wash dishes.
[First and third Saturdays of every month. Also first Wednesday of the month]

Gift Shop Volunteer
Arrange and sell merchandise, keep records, etc.

Mailing Committee
Prepare quarterly newsletter for mailing.
[2 or 3 hours each quarter]

Baked Goods Volunteer
Be available to prepare baked goods for special events and dinners.

Vintage Magazine Staff
Sell ads and copies of each semi-annual issue. Also need writers, proofreaders, and helpers.

Host/ess
Escort newcomers through the center.
[A few hours 2 or 3 days a month]
