Food Delivery
Deliver fresh meals and groceries to home-bound people throughout King County. License, insurance, ability to lift 30 pounds, must be 18 or older.
[2 - 4 hours a week, 6 month minimum]

Assist chef in preparing meals for weekly delivery. Obtain food handler's license, ability to lift 30 pounds.

Warehouse Assistant
Work in Chicken Soup Brigade warehouse organizing items, packaging fresh meals, and bagging groceries for weekly distribution. Ability to lift 30-40 pounds.

Satellite Coordinator
Help run the distribution centers in South/West/East King county. License, insurance, ability to lift 30 pounds, must be 18 or older.

Care to Shop Representative
Represent the Lifelong Aids Alliance quarterly food drive at participating grocery stores.
[One Saturday per month, 2 - 3 hours]
Care to Shop Pick-up Assistant
Work in Chicken Soup Brigade warehouse unloading, weighing, sorting, and shelving food. Shop sites and/or transport collected food from participating sites to warehouse. Ability to lift 20 pounds, drivers must have license and insurance.
[One Saturday per month, 2 - 3 hours]
Pick-up Center
Assist at Chicken Soup Brigade Pick-up Center distributing meals and groceries. Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Lyon Building Volunteer
Assist chef in preparing on-site community meal for the Lyon Building. Obtain food handler's license, ability to lift 30 pounds, must be 18 or older.

Front Desk Volunteer (Seneca)
Handle in-coming calls, take accurate messages, greet visitors. Ability to handle a multi-line phone, must be 18 or older.

Will Call Volunteer
Operate Will Call (free tickets to entertainment venues) for people living with HIV/AIDS. Knowledge of Excel a plus, must be 18 or older.

Thrift Store Volunteer
Work at the Lifelong Thift Store in a variety of functions from sorting to vacuuming. Ability to do some lifting, must be 16 or older.

Community Outreach Volunteer
Assist in recruiting Lifelong AIDS Alliance volunteers by posting and distributing flyers and other materials around King County.
Must be able to provide own transportation to distribution site.

Education Outreach Volunteer
Provide safer sex education targeted to community members, bars, bathhouses, streets, parks, and community events.
[10 hours per month, 6 months minimum]
Education Event Volunteer
Assist staff and other program participants in producing education-related special events. Must be able to provide own transportation to distribution site.

Jars in Bars Fundraising Program
Volunteers will travel in pairs to participating businesses to pick up cash donations from Lifelong donation containers. Ability to walk distances and/or own car, volunteers entering bars must be 21 years or older.

Gay Bingo
Event support for Gay Bingo, a high energy fundraiser for Lifelong AIDS Alliance—Set up, clean up, food court, usher, marketplace. Ability to lift 30 pounds, must be 21 or older to work in the Food Court, as an Usher, or in the Marketplace.
