The Office of Institutional Research is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented student to assist staff with survey development and data analysis, as well as other qualitative research and writing projects. Though no experience is necessary, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to learn more about higher education administration. Now accepting applications for Fall 2016.

Assist the Institutional Research Office in duties including:
• Developing survey instruments and preparing them for distribution.
• Conducting analysis of survey data and preparing written reports for distribution.
• Conducting online research utilizing a variety of sources (e-journals, research databases, government data sources, popular press, etc.).
• Summarize research findings from related online searches for inclusion in grant proposals or other
• Other general office/clerical duties as assigned.

• Strong writing and research skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience with computers in a Windows environment
• Experience in an office clerical environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• UW Bothell students; all majors and disciplines accepted

• Work within a professional team environment
• Develop a foundational knowledge of and work experience in career areas of Statistics, Research, Business Intelligence, Communication and Policy.
