Assistant Career Advisor

General Overview

The Assistant Career Advisor (ACA) serves as a primary contact for students using Career Services by providing career advising to UW Bothell peers and assisting with program planning, marketing, and implementation. To keep up with the growing demand for connecting students to job, internship, and other professional growth opportunities, we rely on these student employees to do the majority of the resume, cover letter, job & internship search, LinkedIn review, and practice interview appointments.

Graduate Program Assistant

General Overview

The Graduate Program Assistant (GPA) serves as a contact for graduate students and students exploring or applying to graduate school. This position will research and provide career resources for graduate students at UW Bothell, support Assistant Career Adviser responsibilities, be a liaison to the graduate academic advisors, assist with targeted program planning, and execute graduate student oriented events and series. Advising specifically focuses on professional development, the graduate school application processes and portfolio development and offering programming targeted at applying for graduate school.

Student Outreach Coordinator (SOC)

General Overview

The Student Outreach Coordinator (SOC) will work with the Employer Relations Team to increase connections between student organizations and employers. This includes providing guidance to student organizations in planning career-related events, and assisting employers in making connections with student clubs. The SOC will assist in supporting career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus recruiting to give students as many touch-points with employers as possible. This position will also assist in marketing Career Services events to all students.
