Joe has just recently entered his new position as a Client Services Manager for UW Information Systems! He began his association with UWB as a student, graduating with a degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Global Studies in 2004. While a student, Joe was very active in student government and as a consultant in the Writing Center. He also worked as a Program Assistant in the Media Center. He stayed with the Media Center after graduation and was promoted to a supervisor role.
Joe was with the Media Center for two and a half years and loved it describing it as "a great place to work!" In fact, he was not looking for a job or even thinking about leaving when his current job as a Client Services Manager became available. It was his boss, Brian Fletcher, Director of the Media Center, who suggested that he apply. With his new job, he has moved from a classified to a professional position. He's excited about the opportunities that have opened up for him and credits the support and mentoring of his former boss for his success in moving into his new role.
