Professional Experience:

Research Assistant UW Bothell
Research and analysis of spread of English holly (Ilex aquifolium) in Saint Edwards Park, including GIS mapping of individual locations and presentation of results at undergraduate seminar and to park officials.
 

 

Alumni Relations Assistant UWB 2011-2013
As the assistant to Alumni Relations Director, Rachel helped create, design, plan, and implement events to connect alumni to current students and the campus. These events included fundraisers, viewing parties, athletic events, networking happy hours, and others. She gained experience in fundraising, auction procurement, alumni outreach and communication, marketing for students and alumni, and working with the community and local businesses to provide support for the campus and alumni events. Some of the events she's helped plan and implement are the 7th Annual UWB 5K, Dream Project Fundraiser, 2nd Annual Lend-A-Paw Day of Service, Homecoming Tailgate at Safeco Field, and others.
