Danielle Lewis

Reflecting on my time at the University of Washington Bothell, I am grateful for the opportunities that were offered that set my future up for success and upward mobility in the corporate world. The smaller classroom sizes, readings and classroom discussions, group collaborative projects, daily interaction with professors and outreach programs shaped and strengthened my communication, leadership and problem solving skills.

Being a High School Lead Coordinator for the UW Bothell Dream Project allowed me to interact with executive level leaders, to mentor low-income students and to gain a better understanding on different ways of communicating by building up self-confidence, trust and alleviating stress.  Holistically, these many opportunities led me to the success of becoming an Employment Manager/Technical Recruiter for a small IT firm located in Kirkland, WA where I interview many candidates.
