Student Technology Consultant

Under the general supervision of Library Technology Services staff, assist and instruct a diverse community of library users in the use of computer software and hardware to access Library resources, and complete academic work. (for example: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF software, web browsers, scanning, and file transfer applications). Assist in the maintenance of computer workstations in the Bothell Campus Library's Information Commons, computer classrooms, and common areas. Provide in-person and telephone technical support for on and off-campus access to resources, including the UW Libraries UW NetID authenticated online resources. Circulate, re-image and assist in the maintenance of circulating laptop computers, and other duties as assigned.  This position will work closely with other Library staff to provide service in support of UW Bothell and Cascadia College students research, writing, and presentation needs.
