Juan Camilo Gomez

Juan Camilo Gomez is an assistant professor at the University of Washington, Bothell. He obtained his Ph. D. at the Department of Economics, University of Minnesota, with minor fields in game theory and financial economics. His research, which includes topics such as bargaining, efficiency, cooperative solution concepts and coalition formation, has already appeared in "Games and Economic Behavior". He has taught both graduate (Institute of Economics, University of Copenhagen) and undergraduate audiences (Macalester College, University of Minnesota and Universidad de los Andes) a number of courses including game theory, mathematical economics, international economics and Latin American economies among others. Back in Colombia, Juan Camilo obtained his undergraduate math degree, worked for the public sector at the National Planning Department and had a taste of private business holding a position at Diner's Club. He is a member of the Econometric Society and the Game Theory Society.
