Xiahua (Anny) Wei is an assistant professor of economics at the University of Washington, Bothell School of Business. Her research interest is the economics of information technology (IT). As an interdisciplinary scholar, she focuses on the area where industrial organization, information systems, and marketing overlap. In particular, she is interested in consumer strategy, innovation strategy, and mechanism design in IT-enabled markets.
Dr. Wei obtained her PhD in Economics at the University of California, San Diego. She also holds two Masters’ degrees in both Economics, and Management Science from the University of California, Irvine, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Fudan University.
