Patrick Weller received his Bachelor of Arts from Seattle University and Master of Science in Commerce/Finance from Gonzaga University. He joined First Chicago Corp (now JP Morgan Chase) as VP Product Planning where he directed the launch of the nation's first frequent flier Visa card with United Airlines. He then was recruited to Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase), Columbus, Ohio as SVP Marketing where he developed co-branded Visa/MasterCard programs with Northwest Airlines, Marriott, and AARP. In the 1990’s, Patrick entered the mortgage industry and became EVP marketing for Prudential Mortgage in St. Louis and developed one of the mortgage industry’s first predictive models for prospect acquisition and customer retention. He subsequently was recruited to Comerica Bank, Auburn Hills, Michigan as SVP Revolving Credit Manager to restructure/sell an unprofitable national portfolio while rebranding and growing core regional assets. In 2000, Patrick was recruited by a New York based investment company to turn around a subsidiary technology company in Tacoma, Washington. He moved back as CEO and President and expanded the operation to 10 offices along the west coast providing software and servicing for seller finance mortgages and personal escrow settlements. Patrick has taught at Seattle University and University of Washington Tacoma campuses and continues to consult with business owners and managers. He teaches New Product Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Business Finance and Advertising and Promotion courses to undergraduate and graduate level students.
