The SR-522/I-405 exit ramp to the south entrance of the UW Bothell/Cascadia CC campus will be closed beginning Wednesday, Sept. 17 until further notice. Drivers are advised to take the Beardslee exit (195th street) as an alternative.

Lorraine Yu

Lorraine Yu is an entrepreneurial leader who founded Sirius 6 Corporation, a consulting services firm that is passionate about helping businesses organize chaos and navigate transitional periods by providing a structured approach along with experienced professionals to get businesses on track and moving towards operational success. Lorraine is a Certified SCRUM Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).

Previously, Lorraine worked at Microsoft for 10+ years where she led various teams and efforts around improving their effectiveness and efficiency. Lorraine provided structured program management for financial planning and designed business operations infrastructure for Online Services; supported marketing efforts by working on Developer Audience Intelligence; helped ship Windows Vista by optimizing test automation systems which facilitated evaluation of product quality; established Six Sigma certification and community; managed numerous infrastructure and application projects; and developed methodologies that supported continuous improvement. Prior to that Lorraine worked in the Chemical and Automotive Industries near Detroit, MI, utilizing her doctorate in physical chemistry (University of Michigan) to improve products and enhance product safety.

Lorraine encourages and supports diverse leadership programs throughout the community. She is a former Board of Director of the Executive Development Institute. Lorraine enjoys sharing her experiences and knowledge through teaching and has taught courses in chemistry, project management, operations, quantitative business methods, and executive skills.
