Alan D. Boss
Dr. Boss is an assistant professor in the UW Bothell School of Business. His research interests focus on leadership, leadership failure, entrepreneurial resilience and organizational change.
He received his undergraduate degree in psychology, and a master’s degree in organizational behavior from Brigham Young University. He received his Ph.D. in organizational behavior from the University of Maryland.
His research has appeared in Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, The Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Public Administration Quarterly, Journal of Healthcare Management, Journal of Managerial Psychology and the International Journal of Public Administration.
He has taught courses in leadership and decision making, organizational behavior, managing teams, entrepreneurship, social responsibility and strategy. He is the recipient of the 2017 University of Washington Bothell Distinguished Teaching Award and the 2017 University of Washington Bothell Technology MBA Professor of the Year Award.
